  • Hand Poured Soy Wax

    WHY SOY WAX?

When you use soy there is no petrol-carbon soot like you get from petroleum-based paraffin candles. Soy wax candles are longer lasting because soy wax burns cooler which means that you can enjoy your soy wax candle for generally 30-50% longer than a paraffin candle. Using soy supports american farmers (instead of foreign oil conglomerates) its also biodegradable and water soluble. Soy wax is non-toxic making it better both for the environment and your health!

  • Ingredients

Our handcrafted soaps are made with nourishing oils and butters, natural colourants, essential oils, and fragrance oils, which are all phthalate-free, paraben-free, and sulphate-free.

  • Cold Process Soap

Cold process soap making is definitely a Process! After we handcraft our recipes, the soap is poured, un-molded, and then hardened and cut. It then takes 4-6 weeks to fully cure. This method ensures natural ingredients, colours, and scents last for the life of the soap. Our fully cured soaps are mild on the skin and provide you with a rich full and luxurious lather.

About Small Batch Soaps

We hand blend and pour our soaps in small batches, so soaps may vary a little from each batch! This process not only helps to create gentle soaps it helps to preserve the ingredients used so that you get the most benefit from each oil and butter used in each bar. The soaps must cure for several weeks after pouring to make sure they are just right for use, during this process the bar will not only harden creating a longer lasting bar, but it also becomes more gentle and balanced. Some of the surface fragrance or essential oils may also evaporate off the outside surface of the bar giving it a lighter scent the longer the bar sits for curing, accounting for some bars having a softer scent then others depending on when they were poured - however the rest of the bar will retain its beautiful fragrance!
